Josephine was abandonned in a NYC apartment. At the shelter she was terrified. Once she feels secure she turned into a playful, ever so slightly mischievous (she can sqeeze through the tiniest spaces to get back inside and reclaim her spot on the couch. She loves other dogs, perches right next to a cat, does not mind being alone as long as she is not locked into a crate. When taken outside regularly she is housetrained, however shemight have been paper trained like many city dogs.
Josephine is her new name, not much is known about her past. She is picking up the pieces and hopes that life with a person of her own is still in her future. Her age was estimated to be 7 - 8 years old. Which means she still has at leat that many good years ahead of her.
