ADOPTED!

Mcdoogle is a happy little dog, who loves to run. For a long time he could hardly move around, because his short legs were encased in 2 inch thick shells of compacted hair.  Many months if not years of neglect, rain, filth. He was not fond of having "work" done on his heavy boots either, mostly because his legs were infected underneath the encasements.  Eventually he was freed, and after a few weeks he started to run and kick his short bow legs high.
He loves other dogs and is peaceful with cats.  He was very shy and defensive when first rescued, but has now turned into an affectionate little fellow. However he still is easily frightened and startled.  For that reason he needs a quiet, gentle home, preferably without fulltime kids.
McDoogle was thought to be 9 years old when rescued, weighed 25 lbs including his heavy, wet, filthy boots. He is now a lightweight small terrier. He resembles a CESKY TERRIER - click here for a link to read about this rare breed.  Having lived in a cosmopolitan city where almost any breed can be encountered  at the pound, although often unrecognizable, he might just be a Cesky!  Cesky terriers are descendants of Scottish Terriers and Sealyham Terriers. He might also be a Poodle  or Cockapoo mix.
McDoogle is undemanding, crate trained and with enough excursions outdoors also housetrained.
He is calm, rarely ever is heard.
He would love to have a yard to roam in, but long walks in the park would be fine, too.

Imprisonned in a tightly packed cast of thick wool, he could barely move around.
